In temptation, the hero’s focus and resilience is tested, as they falter and step into the fire of their emotions. Their material form and inner self become burned by the heat of love and lust, desire for fame and fortune. They wander through the fog to submerge herself in the water, sizzling as they drape themself across the surface in release. The sirens sing across the way, and the hero is directionless. This step is our collective temptation and materialism, and they are within each of us.
