Our unconscious thoughts exist in a theoretical domain. A boundless field of idea and memory, the unconscious realm is inaccessible in moments of intentional introspection. On occasion, when we transcend the black and white world- when we create, when we write, when we near the edge of sleep, or when we float out of our physical bodies- particularly imaginings bubble to the surface. These buried thoughts may govern our behavior more than we can yet understand.
